Groups larger than 10 people are quoted on request. The steep jump for after-hours access reflects full exclusivity — no visitors, no queues, no sharing the Loggia — and is the option most couples choose for a true bridal portrait session or elopement.
What's Included — and What Isn't
The photographer is not included in the fee. This is strictly an access permit; you book and pay your photographer separately.

Personal use only. The session cannot be used for commercial content, and content creators or influencers — even shooting only on a phone — cannot photograph or film the couple without a paid permit.
No ceremonies. Legal or symbolic ceremonies cannot take place during the photo shoot.
No additional vendors or setups. Florists, celebrants, musicians, and decorations are not permitted.
Gardens only. Photography is allowed exclusively in the gardens — the interior of the villa is off-limits to cameras.
No walking on the lawn, and no confetti, petals, or rice.

Formal or wedding attire is only allowed with a pre-booked photo shoot. Without a booking, guests must leave clothing and photographic equipment at the entrance.

Getting to the Villa
Villa del Balbianello sits on its own promontory near Lenno, and there is no car access — this is part of what keeps it so scenic and secluded.
During opening hours: arrive on foot, about a 1 km uphill walk from Lenno, or take a scheduled transfer via Bellagio Boat Service. This is a third-party service, so check timing and availability directly with them.
